B. Grace Pike, BPHE, DC, FICPA - Family Chiropractor

Dr. Grace” is a facilitator-educator-enthusiastic health coach for your self-healing journey. She relocated to Marin County, CA in October 1998, after 17 years of chiropractic practice, and 47 years of life in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

"My mission is to unleash and inspire self-love in my patients."

Her chiropractic mission is to assist you and your family towards whole health by “turning on your inner healer”, learning to listen to and trust your body, and responding with new choices…miracles can happen for you!

She has been in chiropractic practice for 25+ years; for 34+ years, she has been a physical and health educator. Her own activities have included aquatics, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, camping (in Canadian winters, even), marathon running, weight-training, tennis, horseback riding---lots of kamikaze activity.

Initially, she dreamed of being a high school teacher (Bachelor of Physical and Health Education; University of Toronto 1973). During a five-year hiatus between university and chiropractic college, she lived in Liechtenstein for six months, hiked her heart out, and became fluent in the German language. She was a freelance wilderness-and-survival instructor at camps and in high school programs. She managed a large, Toronto retail bookstore for three years.

Dr. Grace was fortunate to work with a number of generous and encouraging mentors during her first decade of practice:
Dr. David Drum, DC, chiropractor for The National Ballet of Canada
Dr. Jean Moss, DC, MBA, President of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
Andy Higgins, BPHE, Coach of the Canadian Olympic Decathlon Team
Dr. Larry Webster, DC, ‘Grandfather’ of pediatric chiropractic and research
Robert Kiyosaki, of "Rich Dad/Poor Dad" fame

Her post-graduate studies from 1993-1995 at Life Chiropractic University (Atlanta, GA) focused on earning a Fellowship (FICPA) in pediatric chiropractic. Dr. Grace realized that many adult conditions could be prevented or minimized if she were able to care for pregnant women, babies and children; that care, education, and helping families to develop good health and lifestyle habits would make a significant difference in life quality for her patients.

Since 1982, she has worked with young dancers and athletes. She is a chiropractic dance specialist, having worked with prima ballerinas and students at the National Ballet. She currently works with the Marin Ballet School (San Rafael, CA), and produced a Health Panel event in April 2004. She helps golfers, tennis players, rowers, soccer players (and their Moms), softball and T-ball kids, cyclists, surfers etc. stay healthy and active.

Dr. Grace’s current volunteerism includes The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce (past chair of the Women For Success Committee); Marin League/San Francisco Symphony (served as Treasurer, First Vice-President, Membership Director).

She was married in July 2004, has become a stepmother to two young adults, a grandmother to Braden, and enjoys her home in Sausalito with her husband, Chris. They are avid hikers and music lovers. She also feeds her soul with friendships, horseback riding, knitting/sewing…and the company of her 12 year old rescue hound, Lady Jewels.
